Improved Living Services, LLC, (ILS) works closely with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and other community agencies to provide innovative community centered employment opportunities for adults with varying work abilities.  For participants striving to work in the community, we assess individual strengths, interests,  abilities, and learning styles to best determine job skills and capabilities.  We provide vocational evaluations and assessments, provide pre-employment skill training, and are committed to building long lasting relationships with employers wanting to hire qualified candidates.  Our placement specialists assist in teaching pre-employment and employment skills, assist in locating community jobs that best fit the participant’s needs, and coordinate on-the-job support services to make sure that both the employee’s and the employer’s needs are being met.  Job coaching services are available for both short-term or long-term needs.    

ILS also provides intervention services for employers wanting to retain valuable   employees that may, for various reasons, be struggling on the job.  We can assist an employer in training or re-training employees.  We can also identify learning styles and recommend job modifications to best assist this employee in meeting the employer’s needs.
