ILS is committed to the reintegration of individuals with disabilities, back to their home community. We are aware that services vary according to locale. In response to this, we are able to offer consultation and training to facilities, funding sources, families and communities are looking for the development of new programs, or the expansion of current systems. ILS can be of assistance in the following areas:

Assessment - of behavioral, physical, emotional and AODA aspects of programming

Referral - to appropriate vendors for services

Development - of services within your community (creation of vendors)

Incorporating behavioral programs specific to the issues of disability

Advocating for necessary funding resources for programs

Working with your community system, or with an individual case

ILS begins with an accurate assessment of the needs of each individual, then works with his/her, family, and other service providers to secure appropriate support services. Comprehensive goals and objectives are developed to promote independence, and to obtain the skills necessary to accomplish this to the greatest degree possible. In all scenarios, our professional staff recognize and respect each individual’s right to choice and to participation in his/her life planning. Also recognizing the limitations of support systems and their providers, we focus on crafting the most comprehensive programs with the least restrictive environment possible for everyone involved.
